Andrea Beeker looks after financial operations and contract management for her employer MAIN5. The consulting firm based in Frankfurt/Main specialises in supporting customers from the pharmaceutical industry and life science organisations in various areas such as strategy development, management and process consulting. “We often work project-based,” explains Andrea Beeker, “which naturally results in a lot of contracts that need to be processed as efficiently as possible.”

Before utilising the electronic signature folder, this was not always a straightforward exercise. Andrea Beeker describes the old solution as “a bit cumbersome”: “GULP had set up the process analogue, printed it out twice and sent it by post. Our job was then to sign it and send the original back by post. Only then was there an invoice!” she explains.
The qualified electronic signature and the signature folder simplify the process enormously: since GULP has been using MOXIS, the company has avoided media disruptions, as the signature workflow is completely electronic. This provides a better overall view: Which document is ready for signature? Where is a signature still missing? Andrea Beeker receives the information from MAIN5 by e-mail. From now on, she can also work directly in the MOXIS interface as an external user. Once everything has been checked and is ok, it can be signed electronically.
“Once all the documents are prepared, I also like to use the batch function in MOXIS and sign with a single transaction,” explains Andrea Beeker. “This and the full digitalisation save me an enormous amount of time,” she says. “Media disruptions and trips to the post office are a thing of the past with MOXIS. This has strengthened the collaboration between GULP and MAIN5 in the long term!” And thanks to MOXIS, invoicing is now much quicker as well.
