The magic threshold has been broken: two million people have activated a digital identity thanks to the xIDENTITY and A-Trust service! That is two million more people who are now authorised to sign electronically with a qualified remote signature.
Two million digital identities – for example in the form of mobile phone signatures – have been issued by the A-Trust Trust Centre over the past ten years. In the German banking and finance sector alone, more than 500,000 contracts have been signed by remote signature since the eIDAS Regulation came into force.
