Three men with wheat beer, Styrian scrambled eggs and freshly baked bread: at first sight, there was little indication that this was a high-calibre panel of experts from XiTrust partner inovoo. The trio of Thomas Schneider (inovoo), Jochen Endreß (Wilken Software Group) and Georg Lindsberger (XiTrust) presented the entire range of paperless digital processes live on screen in the new online format “DIGI-BRUNCH”.
IT managers from a wide range of industries joined in to follow a seminar, in which all participants were sent a small snack package to prepare for the event – including a speciality beer from the Andechs monastery brewery. The beer served in the studio, host Schneider assured the participants, was non-alcoholic.
Documents as raw material
Instead, the topics presented proved to be quite something. It is obvious that digital solutions for processes that were once analogue are rapidly gaining in importance, especially in times of the Coronavirus. “The raw material we work with is documents,” emphasised Georg Lindsberger at the start of his presentation of the MOXIS e-signature solution. “And they need to be signed quickly, even if physical contact is, at least temporarily, severely restricted.” In combination with inovoo products such as Novo CxP and Novo Mobile, entire process chains can be automated: from the first customer email to the signing of a document. ” It all comes down to putting the right ingredients together: Novo CxP, MOXIS and the Wilken Software Group’s e-marketing suite – just like the freshly baked bread here on our table,” added Thomas Schneider, who led through the programme with expertise and humour like a seasoned TV presenter.
Frank Deutsch, Head of IT and Central Services (Janitos Versicherung), who joined the programme from Heidelberg, outlined the challenge his company faced during the lockdown as a best-practice example. “We still needed physical signatures on our documents. With the often time-critical processes of an insurance company, this is of course difficult to handle manually.”

Shorter process runtimes
With MOXIS, Janitos has taken the decisive step out of this dilemma. ” Once home office and mobile working concepts are integrated into companies, analogue signature processes are only of very limited use,” said Frank Deutsch. He did the maths: Where the manual process with classic signature folders took up to two weeks for individual documents, using MOXIS integrated into Novo CxP allows you to work on a just-in-time principle – regardless of location, and including digital filing.
“Everybody knows that you work up an appetite when you eat,” says Thomas Schneider. “Once we have established the sustainability of our joint solution with our customers, we see great enthusiasm and the desire to roll out the solution more widely within the company!” After an entertaining hour and a half, the Digi-Brunch ended with the announcement of the follow-up event on 17 August. It will focus on the topic of artificial intelligence.
One thing we cannot say with absolute certainty, however, is whether a wheat beer with more than zero per cent alcohol was served at the end of the event …
