Templates have already been used before in MOXIS. These practical templates make it easy to turn a specific, recurring signature process into a standard workflow. They contain all the usual functionalities, such as order description, expiry date, the position of the signatures and the decision levels that determine who signs and in what order. “The process templates go one step further,” explains Fliess. “It is now also possible to add parameters such as priority and comments to the workflow!” This means that MOXIS has not only been enhanced with additional features, but has also become a valuable communication tool. XiTrust’s development team adopts a forward-looking approach to digital signatures. The focus is always on decision-makers. This is why a concept was developed within MOXIS allowing several managers who are required to sign to not only sign at defined decision levels using the templates function, but also to summarise thematically related processes with an individual folder structure in MOXIS. Gerhard Fliess: “It is not uncommon for groups of five or more people to have to sign ten different documents for a single project. Now they can exchange information about the project at any time via MOXIS.” One example is the procurement of infrastructure companies. Every new construction project, every maintenance and repair measure requires an optimised overview of the associated signature processes. This is because they show how far an individual project has progressed. Fliess: “All MOXIS users can call up each individual process at any time and quickly gain an overview of the project status. Documents requiring a signature ultimately provide information on where something is still missing and where the necessary signatures have already been obtained!”
