Episode 3: Signature Types
Basic, advanced or qualified
Decisions are the engine for the daily work of a company. These decisions often deserve the utmost care – also regarding the quality of the signature. For example, a qualified electronic signature (QES) is required for employment contracts or payment orders. This highest form of digital signature is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature. The QES is supported as standard in MOXIS – to ensure that you are always on the safe side.
In the case of internal processes, qualified electronic signatures are often not even necessary. MOXIS offers different possibilities to perform such approval processes. This can be a corporate certificate that all users can use to approve their documents. Or basic certificates can be issued automatically – managed via the active directory – for each individual user. The integrity of the document is always guaranteed, and any changes are immediately visible.
Sometimes it may be sufficient to just visualize the image of the signature on the document and make it visible. This is also possible in MOXIS – in addition, there is the option of simply rubber-stamping documents invisibly. Regardless of the individual quality of the signature, all the functionalities of the electronic signature folder are always available to you. You alone decide how your decisions must be signed. MOXIS supports you with every single one.
