Episode 4: Placeholder
Memory of the document
The placeholder is used to visualize the signature image within the document. Wherever the placeholder is located, that is where the signature will be in the end. At the same time, the placeholder indicates to the signatory which type of signature is required. Is it a simple approval or a qualified electronic signature?
The placeholder in MOXIS provides orientation. It contains information as to the decision level where the signature is currently located: Does the person‘s signature complete the process, or does it fulfill the prerequisite for continuing the procedure? The document is completely prepared. Thanks to the placeholder principle in MOXIS, the whole process is made as easy as possible for the person required to bear signature. He needn‘t worry about anything other than the actual signature itself.
All process participants benefit from the intelligence of the placeholder and from its excellent memory. In fact, the information visualized in the placeholder and saved in the QR code becomes active as soon the relevant document is uploaded into MOXIS.
The placeholder keeps track of the signatory‘s function within the company, which is why it also precisely knows who is to sign the document in which sequence in the decision workflow. Once a signature process has been created, it can be integrated into the workflow any number of times.
